Mike,

I liked this video. You have your own little private smoking parlor. I tried for the longest time not to smoke inside my new house, but finally gave in.

Thanks for showing us your little smoking room. It is really cute and well thought out. It must be nice to have a place to go where it is warm.

I haven't meditated in years and I started to think about it last week when I was reading a book about a woman who went to India to learn to meditate. I was thinking I would like to try it again and try harder to stick with it.

Cool little room. I remember freezing my hiney off year after year smoking outside. That room is a cool idea because it doesn't affect the rest of the house.

Take care and stay warm!

Andrew, if I had my own place, I’m sure I’d start smoking inside eventually too. Sometimes I wish I could smoke while sitting at my computer, especially when I’m writing and blogging.

Lena, I know you were reading Eat, Pray, Love- is that the book you are referring to? I enjoy reading about India and its spiritual traditions. I was able to stick with meditation for a while, but then I fell out of the habit. I really want to get back into the routine again.

Kelly Jene, it is really nice to have a warm place to smoke on cold days.

Yep, that is the book I am referring to. My husband is reading it now.

HI Mike,

Thought I'd finally stop by to say hello. Luckily I quit smoking before you had to go outside to do it. I love your little smoking room, but like you would wish I had a laptop to really make it complete. Is there a vent to filter all that smoke out?

Have a great Saturday!

Hi Cheryl, thanks for visiting! It always makes me happy to hear of people who have quit smoking successfully. I do have a laptop, but my battery died, so I need to keep it plugged in, making it pretty stationary. Maybe I'll start taking the time to shut it down and start it up again, to bring it out with me. I open the window to let some of the smoke out while I’m in the little room. Have a good day!

What a cool little video!! You're a great tour guide. I had fun watching this and what a neat, cozy room.

I like having a little spot like that to retreat too when I need some time alone.

Do you mind If I link to your blog?

James, glad you enjoyed the video. It is nice having a spot all my own. I’d be honored to have you link to my blog, thank you!
